Journal 12 Activity 8.3

Preparing for a Family-Teacher Conference


1.The child made the most progress in the following areas:

  • demonstrating accomplishments by sharing and discussing his collection of work with teacher;
  • help set new learning goals;
  • asked questions more and expressed his own ideas;
  • learned how to better cooperate in a team of his peers.
2. The activity the child enjoys the most is:
      Arts & Craft

3. The child is most excited and attentive when?

    The child is most excited and attentive when he can experiment and explore his ideas without set
     limitations.

4.The best form of redirection for this child is?
    Counting to five-ten.

5. One objective the family could work on at home with this child is?
    Allowing him to demonstrate his accomplishments by sharing and discussing his collection of     work with them. This would enlighten them about their child's learning, they would have the opportunity to ask him questions, and express their ideas to help make plans to support their child's learning at home.
