Skills: Approaches To Learning-The child demonstrates positive attitudes, habits, and learningstyles.
Creative Skills-The child participates in activities that foster individual creativity.
Listening- The child will listen for information and for pleasure.
Speaking- The child will express ideas or opinions in group or individual settings.
Print Awareness-The child will understand the characteristics of written language.
Literacy-Vocabulary-The child will develop and expand knowledge of words and word meanings to increase vocabulary.
Comprehension- The child will associate meaning and understanding with reading.
Patterns- The child will sort and classify objects and analyze simple patterns.
Number Sense-The child will understand and relationship between numbers and quantities.
Large Motor Skill Development-The child will participate in activities that involve large motor skills.
Small Motor Skills Development- The child will participate in activities that involve small motor skills.
Science Processes and inquiry-The child will investigate and describe objects that can be sorted in terms of physical properties.
Life- The child will observe and investigate plants and animals.


Monday:  * teach the meaning of cooperation
                  * practice sounds that help children to listen to language or sounds and respond to questions.
                  * song with finger plays: Eensy Weensy Spider.
                  * Flannel board activity "Eensy Weensy Spider".
                   *Child is encouraged to recognize name and others in print.
                  * Uses new words that have been introduced by the teacher from a list.
                   *Look at pictures in books and predicts what will happen next.
                   * Sorts objects into groups by a certain characteristic and begins to explain how the grouping was done.
                    *Put two objects by the number two, three objects by the number three and so forth.
                     * Demonstrates basic locomotor movements (e.g., galloping, hopping, and jumping, running, sliding).
                     * Uses small muscles for self-help skills. ( cutting, gluing, and drawing)
                     * describe the parts of a plant.
